Goldfrapp - Happiness

3:09 in this video KILLED me! Dead. I'm home by myself and at that part I started applauding.

I made my first...

muxtape. I love the 8-bit design and simplistic interface...a brilliant execution! They force you to upload one song at a time so it's tedious like doing a real mixtape

...and I like it.

I don't feel totally comfortable that I'm nostalgic to relive the more complicated days of yesteryear. I guess when you've spent much of your past consuming yourself over the contents of mixtapes as I have you're bound to have some sentimentality about them.

Great song, did it say something about wanting to do it with her in there, rewind, erase, press play (index finger) and record (pointer finger). I'm not sure if that song fits with the tone of the rest of the tape, rewind, erase, press play (index finger) and record (pointer finger). Oops, the 3:40 song cuts off before the end of the tape, rewind, erase, look for a song under a 2:30 that's as perfect as the first to end Side B, press play (index finger) and record (pointer finger)). It's exerting all that effort for one person that's the aspect of a mixtape that's missing from muxtape.

I find myself really longing for that sometimes. I can think of few things in my life where I've put that much thought and effort into a gift for someone else. It's one of the reasons I really enjoyed the personalized one song through headphones in the dark DJing (see a picture from the event below) I did for friends at my birthday last year. I don't know if my birthday party was the right time to do it. I was super excited about the responce but it kept me from just relaxing and hanging out with people at the party but otherwise it was great. I should really try it again soon. It would be neat to do it for people I don't know and make them fill out some sort of questionnaire before hand to help me gadge what their song should be...

I'm glad I worked all that out.
